About the Founder

 

Claudia McIntyre is the founder of Salt & Stone Advisors, an advisory practice that exists to serve family-owned businesses through succession, growth, and ownership transitions.
 

Before founding Salt & Stone, she sat for more than two decades inside a privately held business leading through exponential growth as Chief Operating Officer, President, and Equity Partner. She led businesses through acquisitions, transformation, and the harder work that does not make headlines: keeping people aligned through change, growth, and the opportunities that come with both.
 

She founded Salt & Stone to bring what she learned in that seat to the family businesses who would not otherwise have access to it. Owners do not arrive at succession by deciding. They live into it, over years. Salt & Stone walks alongside that work.

Her practice is built on lived experience, not theory. When a family business owner sits across from her, she has sat in their seat. The thing that guides every engagement is not a framework she read about. It is a way of leading she was shaped by.
